MiVoice Conference Phone MiCollab AWV Launcher

The MiVoice Conference Phone MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Launcher feature provides a simplified method for a MiVoice Conference Phone user of joining a MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing conference (web only or audio/web). The interface and functionality is similar to the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Web Client.

NOTE: MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing 176x144 and 800x600 video resolutions are not supported on the MiVoice Conference Phone.

NOTE: Requires MiVoice Conference Phone device running 2.1 or later software.

To launch this application from the MiVoice Conference Phone touch screen:

Tap the Present icon
Tap the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing application icon

A Join Screen appears.

Select either Add Server or Server List icon :
- Clicking Add Server icon: specify the IP Address or FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) and short description for the server (optional), click OK to Save
- Clicking Server List icon: from here, you can add or delete existing servers from the list

NOTE: A maximum of 10 servers can be added to the Server List. Adding a server to the full list will remove the oldest server entry.

To delete a server:

From the Server List, select the checkbox of the server(s) that you wish to delete
Click the Delete Server icon

To join a conference (web only or audio/web conference):

Select an MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Server from the list - this is the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing server hosting the conference that you trying to join
Optional step: modify settings (see instructions below)
You can access the Settings screen from the Join page. From here you can set:
- Default Name: name that is displayed to all other participants upon joining a conference.
  If a Personal ID is used to join a conference, the name associated with the Personal ID is used
- Callback: allows the application to initiate an audio call from the server to the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone device. This option is enabled by default
- Callback number: specify the phone number to call if the Callback option is enabled (e.g. typically the MiVoice Conference/Video Phone device)
- Auto Answer: if enabled, the application attempts to answer the incoming call automatically.

NOTE: You will be prompted to add an MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Server if you are joining for the first time or if the Server List is empty.

You may be prompted for a password or Personal ID if the conference leader has requested one prior to participants joining the conference. Click Lookup PID if you don't remember your Personal ID.
The MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Web Client application page appears. A progress bar is shown at the top of the page as the Web Client application is loading
You can activate Full Screen by clicking the icon (top right of the screen) or select Full Screen menu option or Long click on the display screen. Press the Menu icon , then select Exit Full Screen to return to the original screen.

To automatically join the Audio portion of an audio/web conference:

Select Menu icon , then select settings. From here you can enable the Callback option and specify the Callback Number
You can access the Settings screen from the Join page. From here you can set:

NOTE: Typically the Callback number is the MiVoice Conference Phone and upon answering the call you would join the conference. If Callback is not allowed or not programmed, you can still manually join the Audio portion of the conference by manually dialing into the conference.

During a conference:

Use Home icon to access other applications without leaving the conference.
Select Back icon to exit the conference and then hang up to end the call.

To exit a conference:

Select Menu icon , then select Exit.

NOTE: If the conference leader has removed you from the conference, you still need to select Menu icon and then select Exit. .
